This is a peek inside my needlework studio. Kjell had shelving built to the ceiling for my yarn stash that rotates constantly. There are all types of yarn here: wool, acrylic, cotton, bamboo, silk, and so many blends....
I use all different types of yarn depending on the item I am knitting or crocheting. I just came across this video of how yarn is produced from sheep to yarn in Norway. After watching it, you will know why wool is so very expensive! Take a look here:

I was curious about the video, as I know wool is expensive, yet it has the best insulation, and I find it hard to give up buying some wool item.
Well, the video shows what a long, tedious work it is to deal with sheep's wool. Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.

It was very interesting to see! It is so nice to see how the wool is worked into yarn. It is a
long process. And it is so nice that there are some who keep up the tradition of making yarn by hand.
Looks like you have as much yarn as I have fabric. I don't have time to watch the video right now, but I will later. It is exactly the kind of video I like.
