Ah, yes, pretty enough to eat waffle cakes that Catherine made for all of us!
This is a Norwegian Waffle Cake topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The heart shaped waffles are made the traditional way with sour cream.

i would enjoy having dessert at your home when Catherine was making this treat.
I once had a heart shaped waffle iron and I loved making the pretty waffles but i’m Sure they weren’t as tasty as authentic Norwegian ones!
