Good morning,
It is amazing to see what happens on "turn around day" for a cruise ship.
Huge trucks arrive at the dock with supplies for the next cruise...
...materials for repairs and maintenance arrive. Above you see rolls of carpet.
All trucks arriving at the port carrying food and other supplies are checked by security.
In the center of the image above you can see buses lined up to take cruise guests to the airport or other destinations.
This is one of two gangways that guests will use to move between the ship and the terminal.
Guests are waiting for customs and immigration officials as they leave the ship.
As soon as the guests from the current cruise are ashore, guests for the next cruise will begin to board.
I took these images just before Freedom of the Seas moved to a new, but similar terminal at Port Canaveral.
All the best,
Lois

It's mind boggling to think of all the behind the scenes operations needed to make a cruise a success!
it takes a village! or a whole lotta workers and crew!
I agree with Sherry and TexWis...Just mind-blowing to think of all the preparations, etc.
Interesting to see 'behind the scenes' of cruise ship life. I guess one doesn't think of all the supplies and repairs needed. Enjoy.
