South Carolina Car Fire

Good morning,

We take plenty of road trips so we see our share of accidents along the way.  We spotted smoke ahead and were passed by a police car so knew there was a problem ahead as we were traveling through South Carolina.

Then the fire truck...

...as we got closer and closer to the source of the smoke.

When the black smoke changed to white we knew things were getting under control.

 A car had been completely engulfed in flames and fortunately it appeared... 

 ...its occupants escaped in plenty of time. 

Although these folks lost their car, they didn't lose their lives.  It appeared the emergency response was very, very fast, too.

We are carefully continuing our journey North....
