Good morning,
These images were taken in late afternoon as we drove from Central Ohio back to Cincinnati.
We were stuck in traffic going South at the same area where we were stuck in traffic going North. This time I was able to take several pictures of this beautiful old farm house that we usually pass at 65 mph.
There's an old orange/red tractor parked near the back door.
Note the design in the roof shingles...
...the same design is repeated on the cook house, that smaller building closest to the camera.
There is a deck built between the main house and the cook house. It appears there are also ramps rather than steps, but it is hard to see from the highway.
What a beautiful place! There must be so much history here.
All the best,
Lois

That's my kind of farmhouse! So much individuality and character. Love the pattern on the roof too. Would love to know more.
What a gorgeous place and that roof!
So many times when I travel through Ohio and Kentucky, I say, "Next time I'm going to stop and take a picture of that!" But I'm always trying to cover as many miles as I can and miss a lot of good pictures.
I do so like the whole concept of the shingles design!!
the roof is very cool! love the two big pines that frame the home!
The builders sure went to town with the roof tile pattern .. superb.
What a gorgeous old farmhouse!
