This image probably isn't what you thought it might be from the post title, but it really is "waves from the bridge" over the Royal Promenade.
The image was taken during the Welcome Aboard Party when the senior officers and department heads are introduced aboard Freedom of the Seas at the beginning of each cruise. That's Captain Ron in the center.

On my ship, I had to go aloft on the mast during really rough seas. I have pictures of waves breaking over the bridge of my ship
