Good morning,
Here are a few more images from our recent trip to Ft. Lauderdale. The last day after My Honey finished his meetings, the rain stopped long enough for us to go sit by the pool at the Ft. Lauderdale Hilton. The tree in the image above is gorgeous, so full of character!
We were sitting at a table similar to these when I took a few pictures of the views around our table.
This was about 4:00 PM on a Friday. As you can see, there weren't many people enjoying the pool area.
These old trees are just gorgeous.
Enjoy,
Lois

That certainly is a lovely spot to sit and relax. Lovely old trees - do you know what kind they were Lois?
Take care

Good place to take a snooze. What kind of trees were those? They're beautiful!
The live Oak trees are the crown jewel of the south east. Most are so old and have such a graceful sweep of their limbs. A tree to enjoy for sure!
Yes, my childhood memories are filled with old trees like that, growing up in the panhandle of Florida. There's no telling how old they are.
It is a very nice tree!
I love trees, and those big old ones are gorgeous.
love the twisty, turny branches!
Hi Everyone,
I believe Jan n Jer answered the question many of us have: what kind of tree is that? I take it it's an Oak tree. Beautiful!
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your very kind comments.
All the best,
Lois
I love your tree photos Lois, they have so much character.
What a quiet wonderful place!
I adore trees. The branches show images and they can give you a
imagination fairy tale if one
looks closely enough.
Beautiful!
Beautiful photos, Lois.
What a lovely place to kick back and relax! When they built the hotel they were smart to keep those old trees and work them into the landscaping.
I could enjoy sitting under that tree in the top photo reading a book.
It is a relief that these days more and more developers are recognizing the visual value of big beautiful trees, and incorporating them into the plan for the facility instead of clearcutting and then planting little sticks as replacements.
It looks really nice!:)
Fortsatt GOD SOMMER, begge to.
