Good morning,
I remember pointing this sign out to my kids many years ago and explaining what it meant to our system of rivers: water falling on one side of the Divide will go to the Atlantic Ocean; water falling on the other side will to to the Gulf of Mexico.
Ah, a light house in the mountains. It's really there, not a mirage to people who spend a lot of time at sea. ;)
Winter beauty.
We saw some deer in Maryland, but no bears.
We are making progress...
...on our journey home.
All the best,
Lois

...reminds me of a song sung by Roy Clark "And here we are, across the great divide"....but it's referring to a romance.
I didn't KNOW about the EASTER Great Divide. Learned something today, thanks to you.
That is such a beautiful drive...anytime of the year.
A lighthouse in the mountains: How interesting! Nice images, Lois!!
Icy...I can't imagine traveling that in a covered wagon.
thanks for the explanation on the divide!
Everything is getting white...
Lois hopefully by the time you reach home all the really nasty wintry weather will be gone.
Beautiful pictures. You are a great narrarator.
A lighthouse in the West Virginia mountains? OK.
