Royal Promenade Christmas

Good morning,

Here is another shot of the Bull & Bear, the pub where the giant Freedom of the Seas Christmas tree is "hanging out."  This is one of my favorite places on the Royal Promenade, too.  It's fun to sit here and watch the world go by.
As you can see by comparison with the people in the above image, that tree is BIG!  :)
Vintages, the wine bar, is another lovely place to relax.
But, for those of us who are ice cream fans, THIS is the place.  I was here early so Ben & Jerry's wasn't open yet.
The Cafe Promenade is open 24/7 so you can always stop by for coffee.  Snacks are also available here.  You'll never go hungry on this ship!

 Enjoy,
 Lois

So, someone isn't pulling pranks by "stealing" the tree and setting it up elsewhere!

It's cold here in the Caribbean, but my oldest sister is visiting and she wants to go to the beach. We're going to freeze, but I bet you find the weather just right! :)

I'm really thinking a wintertime cruise might be just the thing.

I have to wonder! As big as that ship is, do people ever get lost and can't find their way back to their room???

Hi Everyone,

River: The tree has been moved back to the original spot at the end of the Royal Promenade near Sorrento's Pizza. That second move happened in the middle of the night, too! The reason for the first move was to allow space for work to be done on a store front across from Sorrento's. It sure made for some fun pictures! ;)

Yogi: This is a great place to be as I look at the TV right now and see the snow storms at home!

TexWisGirl: I am constantly fighting with my fork that is determined to deliver more food to my mouth. It's all the fork's fault!

Sherry: Yes, some people get lost and it's even easier after a glass of wine or two. There is a high ratio of crew to guests so there is always someone around to help people find their way home. ;)

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your very kind comments.

All the best,
Lois
