Happy Mother's Day!

Today's images were taken at our youngest grandchild's school at a special Mothers Day Tea for Mothers, Grandmothers, and Aunts.

Each child in the class prepared and read a beautiful list of things they love about Mom. There were quite a few damp eyes in the house.  These kids are darling!  That's our Alex at the microphone now.  His words were very mature and touching.  We are so very proud of him!

Then each child came to join his or her Mom for big hugs, then refreshments.  That's Aunt Catherine in the green shirt and me behind the camera.  ;)

While his Mom chatted with his teacher, Alex climbed on Aunt Catherine's lap and was so animated answering questions about school that I had to capture the action.

 What a ham for the camera.  ;)

 Outside the school there are so many beautiful flowers. 

 There are walking paths and places to sit and enjoy the flowers.

 When Alex came out he became "sticker man" by collecting visitor stickers from each of us.

 This is Mr. Stickerman now!  :))

 Grandpa was waiting for us in the car so Alex got a chance to get a grandpa hug, too.

What a wonderful event for Mothers Day!
