This is what is left of the four trees we took down last summer. We have split quite a bit of it already, but these are still waiting to be split. We just haven't gotten around to all of them yet. :) Not to worry, we are not going to run out of firewood.
Maybe a log splitting fairy will come by and do it for us? Nah, I don't think so!

Splitting logs is a job that's good for the soul.
i need a log-splitting fairy, too! have quite a few too-large pieces left from a big oak we lost in the storm a few years ago.
We finished our log cutting a month ago. But I'm sure you'll finish it up soon. Nothing like a fire on cold snowy days.
No log-splitting here! LOL
If you see the fairy, send her/him over! Got a pile of our own.
