Ohio State Buckeyes
Good morning,
For those here expecting to find a football team, my apologies.
Well I was expecting football but trying to be a good blog friend so came by any way. :-) These buckeyes I love. Oh yeah, the PB and Choc ones aren't bad either.
Lovely photo of nature's gems ~ (A Creative Harbor) ~ glad you have 2 assistants ~ I used to have a blacklab/retriever mix ~ 14 years he was my other 'assistant' ~ enjoy!
I remember now after seeing this photo share of yours, that once when I was a kid, walking downtown with my mother, we walked under a buckeye tree and I was bombed by not only one, but THREE of them....they hurt. LOL I think tho, now that I'm grown, and remember the day that there musta been a squirrel or something using me for target practice.
Tho, I'm not sure if it was an "Ohio" buckeye....I do remember the outer shells being a bit 'thorny looking'.
I got a giggle from that! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I am delighted that you like my crow. He used to have a rusty tin star on his hat...it must have fell of in the bin where he was packed. I thought those were chestnuts. What do I know? VERY little! :) Mona
p.s. I have never seen one of those before in my life and didn't even know there was such a thing as a buckeye tree!! (Californians...aren't they just ...never mind...)

Love it! A few years ago I wouldn't have understood, I'd never seen a buckeye.
Now I live in a place where are lots of buckeye.
