Dinner with Brother and Family

Good morning,

We are enjoying our visit to Southern Norway tremendously.  The evening I took these pictures we were invited to dinner at My Honey's brother and sister-in-law's home.

On the way to dinner we passed through Jarlsberg of Jarlsberg Cheese fame.  If you've seen Jarlsberg Cheese in your grocery and it says "Jarlsberg Swiss Cheese" you can tell the grocer it is not Swiss, it is Norwegian.  ;)

Jarlsberg is also famous for horse racing.  I took this picture from the car as we passed the race track, but it give you an idea of the area....

Here we are enjoying the late sun on the deck at brother's house. Yes, that is knitting in my hands.  ;)

The champagne with strawberries was not only delicious, it was beautiful so we took quite a few pictures of it.

Melon and prosciutto go wonderfully with champagne and strawberries.

 We were all fascinated with the bubbles in the sun.

 We moved inside for a delicious dinner of...

 ...deer steak.

It was a wonderful evening with family.
