Lunch by the Ohio River

Good morning,

We enjoyed lunch with friends at an Irish Pub overlooking the Ohio River.
It was still a little chilly out on the river and we came after the usual lunch time...
...so we had the outside serving area pretty much to ourselves.
This mural is on the outside of the restaurant which is located in Newport on the Levee across from Cincinnati.

More images to come tomorrow.

Enjoy,
Lois

  4. What a pretty place!
So neat about your honey's project of olive wood! But what are "turn wood pens?" I hate to admit it but I really don't know!

  6. Hi Everyone,

Thanks for visiting and the kind words.

Melanie, turned wood pens are pens made of wood on a lathe. The wood is turned on the lathe to form the pen, then it is mounted on the pen hardware. You'll find examples here:

    All the best,
