Departing Cozumel, Mexico

Good morning,

These are the last images of the departure of Freedom of the Seas from Cozumel, Mexico, and of the exterior of her fleet sister, Navigator of the Seas.  See yesterday's post.  Tomorrow's post will feature images of the newly refurbished interior of Navigator sent to us by Martha and Russell who were on board Navigator of the Seas for this first cruise out of dry dock.
As the light of the day faded into evening pastels...
...Freedom of the Seas pushed away from the dock...
...that she shared for the day with Navigator of the Seas.
Navigator's gangway had also been removed...
...and her lines dropped in preparation of departure.
As Freedom pulled away from Navigator, the evening light provided beautiful views of the ship across from us.
The traditional ship horn "goodbye" blasts were sounded...
 ...and guests waved and cheered.

 Pushing further away...
 ...both of these beautiful ships...
...were on their way to the next ports of call.
Gorgeous!

Enjoy,
Lois

Yes, safe travels! I still have a hard time wrapping my head around how huge those ships really are!!

I couldn't get over that "tiny" dock between two massive ships! It almost seemed like the two boats would crush it!
