Moyer Vineyard and Restaurant

Good morning,

This is a continuation of yesterday's post about our road trip on Scenic Highway US Route 52, East of Cincinnati.  That's our destination up ahead, Moyer Vineyard and Restaurant.
We pulled into the lot next to the restaurant near the old barn...
...and the vineyard.
We couldn't have had a more beautiful day for our visit.  We planned to ask for a table on the outside of the restaurant, on the second floor to the right in this image.  From there we would have a great view of the river.
I turned around to take this picture.  Now you can see the barn, the vineyard, and the Ohio River.
We went inside and learned there were no tables available on the outside, but one would be available in a few minutes.  The hostess said we could walk around the vineyard which we were happy to do.
Soon we would be seated along the rail about in the center,
but in the meantime we went exploring.
This covered patio is used for private parties and wedding receptions.  What a beautiful place for wedding pictures, too.
The vineyard extends to the other side of the restaurant, too.
Across the river is Northern Kentucky.
 What a beautiful place.
Tomorrow I will have more images from inside the restaurant.

All the best,
Lois

  2. That looks really lovely, Lois! I won't be blogging or commenting for about a week, so don't give up on me. We have some other commitments and things going on that will keep me pretty busy. Don't give up on me, I'll be back!

  3. Beautiful....pristine and oh so tranquil. Hey? Doing genealogy, I did find a "Moyer" from centuries ago on my hubby's side of the family. Hmmmmm.

  28. Love it when barns are repurposed instead of being left to the elements. A beautiful site for a winery.
