Road to the Port - St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Good morning,

I believe this is one of my all-time favorite images I've taken in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.  We have walked to the end of the old waterfront and, after a little exploring here, will walk back to our ship across the bay.
When we took the taxi ride into the old town, this is the area where we were dropped off.  Local entrepreneurs have some lovely items to sell.  Whether you're in the buying mood or not, it is fun to walk through the stalls to see what is available.
And, now for another angle is our ship across the bay.  Soon we will start our walk back to the ship, just less than a two mile walk.

What a wonderful way to get some exercise!

Enjoy,
Lois

  8. The homes on the hillside reminds me of Bermuda - only not near as many homes. Would be fun to visit all the different stalls. Is it all junk or do they have really nice things? ...debbie
