Old Fort, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Good morning,

My Honey and I enjoy walking around ports and taking pictures.  It's so much fun to have no specific objective except to spend some time exploring and perhaps having some lunch.
"Recycle and Reuse" is certainly the key to this place.  It is obviously an old fort...
...that has found another use.  There don't seem to be enough bars on the windows to indicate it is a jail.  It appears to be some sort of an office building.  Perhaps someone reading this can tell us how it is being used now.

Enjoy,
Lois

  3. Hi Lois!
Honestly, in this day and age, it could be anything! My brother and family just returned from a cruise... I told them all about you and I think they would like your life!Now... if they just knew the things your husband knows in running a ship...

  4. Lois, perhaps a local guidebook can reveal the re-purpose of this old structure which has obviously withstood the test of time very well.

  5. Interesting building, whatever it is used for. If it's an office building I don't think it would be a very cheerful place to work.
