US Coast Guard Escort

Good morning,

Today we are entering the Port of St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. and are greeted by the U.S. Coast Guard who give us an escort into the port.
Zooming out...
...gives you the perspective of how I see these fine folks from our stateroom window.
 Now you see him...
 ...now you don't!
 Ah, beautiful St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
 It's always good to be in a "home" port.  :)

    Are you going or coming? I've just returned from a long blog break and between doctors we did another trans Atlantic, ending in Italy, rented a car for another 10 day. Had a great time, but I've not posted about it yet. Just started blogging again on Tuesday and the the 4th of July, I thought I would wait.

    I haven't been to St. Thomas since I was a baby in the 60's... and I no longer have my Uncle Wally to go and visit... too bad. Lovely pictures, as always.
