Along Side in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Good morning,

We are "pulling up to the curb" in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. and what do I see on the dockside, but Senor Frog's. :)  Mr. Frog certainly has prime real estate to let cruise passengers know they are here!
This image puts it all into perspective.  That's the inlet to the St. Thomas Harbor out there, Mr. Frog on the Dockside, and the Deck 12 walking and jogging track of Freedom of the Seas.
I went ashore, but not to go to visit the Frog.  I went ashore to visit the U.S. Post Office so I could send some cards and letters home.  My Honey was busy on the ship so my trip ashore was very short.  I was happy to get back to the "mother ship" Freedom where the air conditioning feels so good after even a short walk in the tropics in summer.

Hopefully, the next time we are here we will be able to go ashore for lunch at Mojo's.  They are very close to the ship and have really great chicken wings.

All the best,
Lois

  1. That photo really does put the size of the ship into perspective Lois! I don't even know that I could walk that far, LOL!!!
    Sounds like it's hot there too. It's been horrible here. Hope next time you get to enjoy your wings, have one for me!! Love Di ♥

    Looks like the Frog is just waiting for all those flies as they come ashore!! ; }
    There needs to be floating Post office boat in ever port to take the outgoing mail!! : }}}]

  3. That's a great "perspective" shot of the ship. One doesn't realize how huge it really is til we see a photo like that one! Nice work.

  5. Lois, Senor Frog's is a place that would definitely be on our meal plans...provided no frog is served there.
