Shawnee Lookout - Hamilton County Ohio Park

Good morning,

We visited Shawnee Lookout, a Hamilton County Ohio Park, in late January, just before we headed South to Port Canaveral.
Shawnee Lookout overlooks the Ohio River and may be the largest continuously occupied hilltop Native American site in the United States.
The log cabin was brought here from Elizabethtown, Ohio, to be preserved here in the Hamilton County Park.
There's that handsome man with a camera again.
This area is used by individuals and groups for bird watching...
 ...and outdoor meetings and classes.

What a beautiful place.

Enjoy,
Lois

  15. The old cabin is wonderful!! I wonder how cold it was in the dead of winter. But, I guess if you kept a fire going all the time you'd be warm! ...debbie
