Images from Riverboat Row

Good morning,

You saw this bridge a few days ago, but this is a different trip across the Ohio River to Kentucky.
This time we stayed near the riverbank to take pictures of the skyline of Cincinnati from the Kentucky side.
We pulled into Riverboat Row where the B&B Riverboats are tied up.
The first thing I noticed was a pair of Canada Geese on one of the outer docks.  Perhaps waiting for their riverboat to come in?  ;)
The parking lot was nearly empty and it appeared most of the B&B riverboats were all in port.

There in the center is the Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds.
These B&B Riverboats are tied up at their terminal that is a very busy place on warm summer days.  Lunch and dinner cruises are a "must do" if you visit Cincinnati.
The little boat you see in the center of this image is a tug named the Shirley B.  Shirley Bernstein was the wife of the owner.  The children of the original owners are running the company now.
Mr. & Mrs. Mallard strolled by us.  They were obviously used to having people around.  I think they were checking to see if we had handouts, too.
As we pulled out of Riverboat Row and back into Newport, Kentucky, traffic we were behind a tourist bus.  Northern Kentucky has done a fabulous job of turning the area into an entertainment center directly across from the City of Cincinnati.

Enjoy,
Lois
