Bridges Across the Mighty Ohio River

Good morning,

What a beautiful time of the year to take a ride and enjoy our new car.  It may be hard to see in the above image, but there are trees blooming on both sides of the road.
We crossed quite a few bridges taking a ride across the Ohio River...
...on the "Big Mac" bridge...
...to Kentucky...
 through a few miles in Northern Kentucky...
 ...under another bridge over I-275...
 ...then across another bridge near Riverbend, the summer home of the Cincinnati Pops, to return to Ohio.

The trees along the highway are all in bloom now here in the Cincinnati area.  It is just gorgeous!

    Nice to see green trees and (believe it or not) cloudy days. We've already started having over 100+ degree temps here in Arizona and I'm not ready!

    Bridges are fun, so many different styles and colors! I like the bridge that goes from Pt. Pleasant,WV to Ohio. It's a beautiful bridge! Very modern looking...debbie

    Living in Cincinnati, you must cross bridges just abut every time you drive anywhere. :))

    Wonderful post with some great shots, Lois. Those bridges need to be sturdy and functional, btu they are also beautiful, I think.

    I would love to be able to see one of the bridges built across some of the huge rivers, etc...it is just amazing that that can be done.
