Photo Gallery and Casino - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

Although most of us bring our cameras when we travel, there are professional photographers on board the ships that can take wonderful formal pictures and get snap shots of you throughout the cruise so you can be in front of the camera instead of behind it.  You can also purchase cameras here and have images you have taken printed.
Of course, cruise ships are known for their casinos.
The art work in the casino is reminiscent of the Roaring 20's...
...and of the Prohibition Era.

I don't spend much time here, but it's fun to walk though and watch the action.

Best,
Lois

Programming note:

It appears Blogger has found at least some of the lost comments that were lost during the down time last week.  This is great.

The only problem is that the system must have been recovered to a point before some of our followers joined.  Perhaps you have experienced the same on your blog.  I haven't deleted/blocked any followers, but some are missing and I don't believe you happened to leave at the moment Blogger was under the weather.  If you are no longer listed here on mine, please know that I didn't block you and would love to see you return.

  1. Isn't that a BEAUTIFUL ship. I look at your pictures and go 'WOW, don't remember that!!'. We were on a quilting cruise so spent a LOT of time sewing with Edyta Sitar, Sandy Klop & Lynne Hagemeier. Guess I missed a few things on the ship! LOL

  11. Lois, like you I would just watch other people spending their money in the casino as I'm not a gambler either.

  12. I´ve been looking at your wonderful pictures from the fantastic ship! Just gorgeous!

I also love the beautiful glass art at Boleros lounge! They remind me of Dale Chihulys glass art. Is he the artist?

  13. Hi Everyone,

I am having a grand time taking pictures here on board once again. It seems there is always something going on every time I go for a stroll.

Cecilia, I will see if I can find out who is the artist of the glass art in Boleros. I'll go take a look to see if I can find a plaque near the artwork. There is credit given to most of the art work on board.

Thank you, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments.

    Very best,
    Lois
