Etsy Shop Opening - Evensens Productions

Good morning,

We are home and there are so many things on the list to do right away!  There is bread, of course, some shopping for wood for my honey to make some things in his workshop, a basketball game to attend to see our granddaughter at half time....  There is just so much to enjoy here at home!

I've had several people starting with my daughter and friends and including many of my blogging buddies encourage me to make some of the items that I design available for purchase in an on line shop.  I've been encouraged by visiting shops of many of my blog friends here who have Etsy shops to see the beautiful items they have available for sale.

So, I've gone and done it and I'm inviting you all to take a look.  It's not where I want it to be yet, but I want to share what I have with you now and ask for your wise counsel.  I will add some of the items I have featured here on the blog, but I am still working on all of the descriptions and images needed to get them there.  I'm working on different categories of items for sale and I am also still working on the shop itself.

If there is something that you've seen here that you think would be good to have in the shop, please let me know.  So, that's the news of the day.  For those of you who have on line shops, is it a rewarding adventure?  I'd love to hear your experiences.

It is wonderful to be home.  Now I'm off to the kitchen to bake some bread.  ;)

Very best,
Lois

  7. I'd love to do that Lois but I just can't keep up anymore. The arthritis is so bad I'm lucky if I can do one project a month and then I'm in pain for weeks.
I wish they had this when I was younger, oh well! I wish you all the best and glad that you are already enjoying your time home.
    Love Di ♥

  8. Welcome home Lois and Kjell. Glad that the weather cooperated all along the drive. I know that Grenville would be interested in reading how you do with this online shop. He's been thinking of doing something to sell his wood turnings because local craft shows can be unproductive in terms of sales

  11. Congratulations! It's one thing to post photos of your creations on a blog but it feels completely different putting them out in a shop, doesn't it? Well done!

  12. Good morning,

It seems the Etsy shop is off to a good start as I get items into the inventory. I've had plenty of lookers in just a few days. I've found several of you blogger friends out there on Etsy, too, and you have beautiful shops!

Thank you so much for stopping by and all of your good wishes.

    Very best,
    Lois
