The pups were thrilled when Catherine started putting all of the dog equipment back into her car after she got it back from the body shop. That's Wendy giving directions to Catherine about bringing the two kennels from the garage to put into the back of the car.
Catherine's car was under the tree that came down in the storm last month (see previous posts) so needed to spend some time int he body shop. Catherine has two dog kennels that fit perfectly into the back of the car and she's able to get all of the other dog show materials between the kennels and the front seat.
Our pups ride in kennels in the car because it is safest for them and for the driver. Should there be an accident, we wouldn't want our pups flying around the interior of the car or ejected into traffic. It's safest for the driver that they aren't able to suddenly decide to get on the driver's lap while the car is in motion.
And, so, let the dog shows resume!

I guess dog transport has to be taken into consideration when buying a car. I can see how a driver could get distracted if a dog suddenly decided he wanted to ride on a lap.
