He: Sounds good.
Me: How many eggs to do you want?
He: I'll pass on eggs this time.
Later while the aroma of pancakes is filling the kitchen...
He: Those smell great. They look good, too!
Me: Yes, I love blueberry pancakes.
As I am moving the pancakes from the pan to our plates:
He: These would be good with ice cream.
Me: Yes, and whipped cream. You get the ice cream, I'll get the whipped cream.
It's good to be retired. We retired folks can eat whatever we want for dinner.
OK, seriously, we don't do this sort of thing often. In fact, I can't remember the last time we did it.
It was fun!
