Needlework and Wood Working Update - October, 2021

 Good morning,

It is time to work on holiday items so this month's Needlework and Wood Working Update begins with the generous size lap (or Christmas baby) blanket in holiday colors.  This is a highly textured blanket that is extra warm and comfortable.  $80.  More images here.

This Nordic Knit Intarsia Green Hat will keep your head toasty warm because the knitted in design naturally carries multiple strands of yarn.  $38.  More images including the inside of this hat here.

Click here for more of our hats in other colors ready to ship now.

Pumpkins are great for the entire Fall Season and these crochet and knit gourds will still be beautiful for years to come.  $25 for the set of three.

This month I made quite a few pot holders and dish cloths.  The pairs above and below and extra large and double thick so are perfect for men or women with large hands.  They also make beautiful hot pads for serving at the table.

These are available in the Home Living Entertaining Section of our shop.  $20/pair.

This is a scrubby dish cloth.

This and the following dish cloths were crocheted of the same type of yarn in different stitches.
It is fun to see how the colors "arrange themselves" differently with the different stitches.
Some of these were custom orders...
...and others are available in our Home Living Entertaining Section.

Here are a few more that were a custom order.
No, you're not seeing the same guitar that was in last month's Update!  This is a guitar that Kjell made for me so that we can play together.  Isn't it gorgeous!  He is so very talented.  Thank you, Sweetheart!

And, this is a lamp similar to one that he made for me several weeks ago.  This one is a custom order.

That's it for another month!  Come take a look at what else we've made:  EvensensProductions.com  When you are shopping for the holidays and for yourself, we hope you'll come take a look in our little shop.

We recently made a short road trip to Missouri to meet with other wood workers.  Watch this space for images from our trip.

After the wood working event, we had planned to rendezvous with other friends in Branson, Missouri, for a few days, too, but the new Covid outbreaks cut our trip short.  We had so looked forward to seeing them and hope we can do so next year.

Thanks for your comments and encouragement!

All the very best,

Lois

The orange pumpkin is sweet too. There's nothing like orange pumpkins in Autumn. It's
my favorite season of all. : )
