It's raining here - still - but the weather is not nearly as bad as it was for the Gulf States this week. We pray the worst is past for them now and that they can quickly recover.
We have needed rain here and the old saying goes, "When it rains, it pours." As the season changes from Summer to Fall, it's good to have rain to keep the roots of many plants alive through the Winter, but we have so much rain right now that we have flash flood warnings in the area. Fortunately for us, we don't live where we are concerned about flooding.
As soon as the sun reappears, I have three items to photo and list for the shop. I may have more than three by the time the sun shines here again. I like to use natural sunlight whenever possible to capture true colors and textures so it's worth the wait to get natural light.
I hope the weather is calm wherever you are.

We had a heavy rainfall on Sunday, but now it's like a sauna!! (I look forward to seeing your hubby's wood work for the holidays).

ReplyDeleteI watered the outdoor plants this morning. Seems weird to do after two hurricanes passed by, but we had hardly any rain from Ida.
ReplyDeleteHeavy rain here all day. I can't wait to do car line duty! lol
