The beautiful white iris are in bloom once again this year. These lovely flowers are from bulbs given to me at least 25 years ago by a dear friend. She died a couple of years ago and it is wonderful to have something so beautiful to remind me of her.
The scaffolding you see behind the flowers is our painter's. It's on the side of the house and not easily seen from the street. Now that the weather is warmer, he should be able to continue with the house painting that began, uh, I hate to say how long ago! He gets here when he can. But, that's OK. We don't mind at all. We're not going anywhere.... (Insert chuckle here.)
