Waiting Room Knitting Project

Good morning,

This was my "carry out" knitting this past week.  I took the above image of the current Waiting Room Knitting Project that was on my lap as I waited for My Honey during a routine doctor visit.  It's amazing how much knitting can be done while waiting.

This will be a size 36-38" chest, long sleeve slip over sweater and will be available in the shop when finished.  Currently, there are similar sweaters in other colors and sizes ready to ship now.

I have several knit and crochet projects in progress right now, too.  I take along what will fit on my lap when working in the car or a waiting room and the rest I work on at home.  I switch back and forth between knit and crochet to give my hands a rest from the same repetitive movements.

Do you always have to have something nearby to keep your hands and mind busy?  I sure do!  Back to the knitting!

:),

  1. Beautiful orange color and design!
I must admit I can't concentrate on anything outside home.No reading or craft making.I just look at people and/or landscape and try to enjoy the sights.

  2. I also have to have a "waiting room knitting". And I don't like to just sit down without a knitting project. When I was at the knitting gathering in October, we got a tote bag with the text: "If I sit, I knit". Very true!
