My daughter, Catherine, and I are both Certified Public Accountants.
As with most professions, we are required to attend a specified number of hours of Continuing Professional Education each year. We recently attended a CPE conference in a room that was decorated for a wedding, surely to be held there soon after we were there.
For those of you who have cruised aboard Royal Caribbean ships, I have to point out the ceiling lamps. Don't those look like Mud Slides, a favorite drink on board? I got a good chuckle out of those light fixtures.
Seriously, one of the great advantages of getting together for these sessions is having time to chat with old friends.
