Arrival to Roatan, Honduras

Good morning,

Freedom of the Seas visited Roatan, Honduras, for the first time in June, 2016. 

I took these images from deck 10 as the ship slowly moved up to the dock.

We were here on another ship nearly 20 years ago.

There are a few new buildings, but the general look of the port is the same.

 Local drummers and dancers were here to greet us.

 The beat of those drums could be heard on board the entire day.  :\

 A couple of hours after arrival local dignitaries arrived to welcome the ship for her first visit to this port of call.

 Catherine (our daughter) and I walked into the shopping area later in the day.

 The tour buses and taxis are all lined up for tours of the island.
