Cruising Service Dogs - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

We were delighted to have service dogs and their humans aboard Freedom of the Seas recently!  Today's images were taken during play sessions for the dogs at the end of the day.
The ship provided a large room for the dogs to play, rest, and exercise at the end of each day.
The day I took these first pictures the dogs had gone to the beach with their people.  Some of them were quite tired from swimming in the ocean and having so much fun!
Others were having a great time playing doggie tag.

These images were taken on different evenings during play time.  It was wonderful to be invited to see them when they were not "working" and to be able to get our "doggie fix" since we don't see our own dogs for weeks at a time.
"Hello?  Yes, this is the Captain.  I'll be there soon...."

The captain also has a dog at home who he misses terribly while at sea.
Are these marvelous dogs gorgeous or what!
This is my friend, Marguerite, posing with Captain Ron.

This cruise was organized by Paws With a Cause.

  3. It must be very hard to leave your pets behind when you are at sea!

  4. How fun to have doggies aboard! I never thought of that but it makes sense... Good to see that they are having a good time in between their work schedule!
