New Years Foods

Good morning,

We enjoyed New Years foods with friends.  Above you see sauerkraut, a traditional New Years food for many country traditions.
Of course, bread and wine are also important.
This is a vegetable salad made by a friend.
And, the BEST home made bread, warm from the oven.
Oven baked sliced potatoes and suckling pig completed the menu.

Yum!  What a great start to 2016!

What are your traditional foods for New Years?

Enjoy,
Lois

  1. We don't have any traditional New Years Foods, but we do have the custom of taking a suitcase with you the first time we leave the house after the new year starts, this helps promote a year with a lot of travel!
