Walk from Our Hotel to the Town Center - Toensberg, Norway

Good morning,

This sign was in the lobby of our hotel as we left to talk to the town center.

The sign?  It has nothing to do with our friend Fred.  The Norwegian translated to English:  "With Israel for Peace."
This sign is much easier to translate to English:  Toensberg Fish (Market) and Delicatessen.
Toensberg's Town Center has many of the same businesses of a busy downtown area of a town in the USA.
The area has not changed dramatically since we were here several years ago.

There's that handsome man who shows up in so many of my pictures again....
He seems to be everywhere....

The dark awnings on the second floor of the building on the right on the offices of KPMG, a CPA (and other services) firm we know in the USA.

More images to come of our visit to the town square.

 Enjoy,

Lois

  2. It is very interesting to follow your visit to Tønsberg. I have been in Tønsberg many times, but now it is many years since I was there. It is a nice town to visit.
