Good morning,
These are more of the images I took as we moved into the rolling hills of Kentucky on our recent road trip.
Very pretty.
Looking into the forest was with the sun through the trees on the snow was beautiful. I was able to identify some deer tracks. It was so bitter cold I wondered how the wild animals manage to survive the winter.
The ice falls continued to provide the photo opportunities.
These pictures are a dramatic contrast to where I am now where it is much warmer.
To be continued....
:),
Lois
The ice makes for some eye catching photography. Hopefully you had a safe drive.
ReplyDeleteGlad to share some of our snow and cold temps with the southern states too. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteIcy roads, take care Lois.
ReplyDeletethe terraced sides and trees growing on them are neat.
ReplyDeleteThe ice falls are beautiful! It is still a little cold here for this time of year, but I have seen some robins so I know it won't be much longer until we warm up for good.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty, but I'm so tired of winter. It would be nice to see a warm, sunny day again and feel the sun on my skin.
ReplyDeleteSome spectacular winter scenes!
ReplyDeleteLove the ice affect, but I know it is cold!
ReplyDeleteEven though these are interesting and enjoyable photos, I am happy you are in an area where it is warm. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of the ice falls, but glad to hear you've arrived in the warmer south.
ReplyDeleteSoon you will be showing us views of warmer looking scenery, Lois. But if you need more winter views, just let us know as we will have many more for weeks to come.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever been through there when it was covered with this much ice.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will want to travel in the snowy weather.
