Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you're enjoying the day with your Valentine.  My Honey gave me a gorgeous gift that he made in his wood workshop.

This is a band saw jewelry box.  It is My Honey's own free hand design.
The box has three drawers.  The top drawer is divided into two sections.
The center drawer has one section and it has a...
...secret drawer in the back of the larger drawer.  :)
 The bottom drawer...
...also has a secret drawer in the back of the larger drawer.

The blue lining is soft, velvety flocking.

Is that a gorgeous gift or what!  What a sweetheart!

All the best for a great Valentine's Day!

Lois

  3. That is a very beautiful gift! At a craft show here a man made similar boxes out of old cedar tree roots and branches. He actually scoured beaches in British Columbia for the wood! The ends of the wood were finished but the actual cedar was left natural. He would have a drawer or two in them and a tiny secret drawer in the back of each one. Your husband does beautiful work. Happy Valentine's Day!

Very windy here today and we've heard some snow is on it's way. Right now it looks like a mini blizzard. I am so ready for Spring time, allergies or not.
