Good morning,
Just watching eleven week old Wendy is pure joy. Everything is new and exciting to her.
She had followed an ant across the patio and was very upset when it went under her pool where she couldn't see it.
Now here's a real action shot! She has that black and white toy she and Erik had in the kitchen yesterday. It has a crinkling plastic inside that makes such a wonderful sound when she shakes it.
Perhaps she can turn on the hose?
Ah, ha! She heard something in the vines beside the log pile. What could it be? Will it come out and play?
And, suddenly, after lots of play, she collapsed for a nap with her head across her favorite stick.
It's amazing how much time this little bundle of joy requires. It's worth every minute!
Seriously, we have hawks in our neighborhood and we see them circling often. We also confronted an Opossum that came running toward her at 4AM one morning while we had her out for a potty break. Our older dog Erik is a very good body guard for her, too. Until she gets a little bigger, Wendy needs full time body guards while outside.
All the best,
Lois
