Good morning,
Today pictures were taken while we were tied up in Cozumel, Mexico.
There are plenty of things to eat, see, buy, and do right at the port.
It is all within walking distance.
Or, you can take a cab and go "downtown."
Many cruisers don't get past the Frog right at the dockside, though.
Above is a barge unloading pipes next to the cruise ship dock.
I took these images in the afternoon as most people were returning to the ship after another tiring day in port.
Enjoy!
Lois
I was wondering, how much time do you have if you want to explore the city your are docked in?

i know there is good diving there, but very touristy. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that there's so many things to see and do right close to the ship.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were at Cozumel we went to see the ruins, but I think if we do it again I'd hang around close to the ship.
ReplyDeleteMersad,
ReplyDeleteWe are in port generally from morning until late afternoon or evening. At some ports such as Venice, we sometimes overnight so the guests can enjoy the night life.
Unless on a new/different itinerary, most experienced cruisers do not go ashore at every port. Some don't go ashore at all. They cruise for the ship and the ports just happen every day or so. ;)
