Good morning,
Today's images were taken of our daughter, Catherine, and our Labrador Retrievers, Penny (Yellow Lab) and Erik (Black Lab) while we were away at sea. The images were taken by the professional photographer at the shows. Catherine purchased them so that we have and can use them.
Above are Catherine and Penny the day the two of them achieved Penny's MACH2 (AKC's Master Agility Champion II) title.
This is Penny in action on an agility course. She is a true champion!
Part of the agility run includes a stop at a table where the dog must pause for a specified period of time. Here Penny is telling Catherine what she thinks about this and Catherine is encouraging her to be quiet. ;) Trainers can talk to the dogs, but cannot touch them. Barking dogs are allowed on the runs and this photo of communication between trainer and dog was so cute the photographer used it as one of his header images on his web site.
This is our Black Lab, Erik. He's just five this five years old this month and is accumulating his own set of titles. You can see he is not camera shy. ;)
Here's Erik in "airplane mode!"
Erik will surely have plenty of titles in his career, too. He is already running at "Excellent" level.
Trainer and dog work in harmony to achieve perfect runs.
These are some of the members of our local Labrador Retriever Club.
Our Penny qualified for and ran in the AKC National Championship Trails in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in March.
Yes, My Honey and I are so very proud of Catherine, Penny, and Erik.
Thank you for allowing me to brag. ;)
All the best,
Lois
