Viera, Florida and Blue Heron

Good morning,

Now that we are home in Ohio, I am going through more of our pictures from Florida.  Above is the Hampton Inn that we call home every time we arrive in Viera, Florida.  We stay a couple of nights so we have time to visit Viera Wetlands and take more pictures.
This palm tree is on the Hampton property.  It is fun to see the critters that live in the spaces provided for them from the bases of the old fronds that form the "trunk" of the palm tree.
This gorgeous blue heron lives at Viera Wetlands.
Every time we come here we find something different to photograph.
Mother nature provides different lighting and so many beautiful creatures!

Enjoy,
Lois

  2. Such beautiful photos to start my day. I love the header picture of your Lab. I am rotating pictures of Barkley my screensaver daily, so happy I took as many as I did, not knowing he would be gone so soon.

  6. Nice photos, bet you wish you were in Fl with this cold weather we're having. March just doesn't want to give up. Thanks for your visit to my blog. I don't get around to peoples blogs much anymore, seems Facebook takes up most of my time. Have a great Sunday.

  9. Great photos from the wetlands.
The blue heron is beautiful. We sometimes see a grey heron on our trips to a lake outside town.
