Good morning,
I took this image through the french doors in our dining room as snow was gently falling outside. That's a neighbor over there on the right side of the image walking his dog.
This shot is taken through the side light in our entrance hall.
It looks so very cold out there in contrast to the warmth of the light inside and the reflection of the chandelier in the door window.
This is a perfect evening for a simple meal of comfort food: ham potatoes, cabbage, and peas with a glass of milk. Just right.
All the best,
Lois
Looking wintery out your windows and it does seem appropriate for making and eating comfort food. ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely series of photos, Lois. Your dinner looks very inviting - my kind of food!
ReplyDeleteThis is how I love to see the snow...from a warm home!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for that comfort food!!! A perfect ending filled with delights on such a cold, blustery, snowy day.
ReplyDeletethat meal looks delicious - especially with the cold outside.
ReplyDeleteThat ham potatoes, cabbage, and peas looks inviting.
ReplyDeleteNothing like some hot food in that biting cold.
Your supper looks perfect for a snowy day. It's getting colder here and we're having hamburger, macaroni, tomato goulash - another heart and body warming meal that we love. Stay cozy.
ReplyDeleteoh my your snow is nothing out the window.
ReplyDeleteCompared to what others are having but I do love your french doors.
We are knee deep in our backyard.
for waking everyone.
That comfort food looks wonderful to me!
ReplyDeleteThese photos make me just want to settle down with a good book...
ReplyDeletePretty looking out at the snow, but hopefully you don't get too big a wallop. We had another four inches of snow over the weekend, but the sun came back out and so now we're going back into colder weather well below zero. Your dinner looks perfect. In fact, I have ham in the frig and potatoes and peas on the menu for tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteNice lookin' dinner.
