Christmas Music and Fireplace - at Sea

Good morning,

Just because you go on a cruise you don't have to miss sitting in front of a fireplace and listening to Christmas music.

Every evening during the holiday season aboard Freedom of the Seas a TV channel was devoted to a fireplace featuring a warm (you could almost feel it) fireplace complete with stockings hung with care and a moving train.  After awhile, the milk and cookies disappeared.  ;)

We enjoyed this channel every evening when we were aboard last year.

All the best,
Lois

  2. That's fun. We have a Christmas fireplace CD too, that looks and sounds just like a real fire going in a fireplace.

  4. Sparkle, that's an internal channel on the ship so it's not necessarily on cable where you are. However, I remember seeing on the news that there is a channel in the NYC area that carries similar programming during the holidays for people without fireplaces.

Here at home we have our fireplaces going every day during the winter. It is very, very cozy.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind words.

    All the best,
    Lois
