Iris

Good morning,

Daughter Catherine sent us today's images while we were still at sea.
One of the things that we miss while we are away for weeks at a time is the changes in the garden.  Until fifteen years ago, I worked a great deal in the garden to have blooms at (almost) all times.
Thank you, Catherine, for sending us these images of the iris last month.  They aren't here any more now that we are home.

Enjoy,
 Lois

  1. Glad you got home safely Lois. I love the first purple and white iris. They are beautiful. Mine haven't opened yet but the buds are there. Enjoy the weekend. Pam

  2. These are beautiful. After fighting the slugs - unsuccessfully - for the past two years, I didn't plant impatiens in the front yard like I always have done. I miss them already.

  3. Beautiful flowers. I'm behind again in my blogging. Have been occupied with switching computers. Brought my big 27" iMac upstairs and switched everything over to it, plus bought a new photo program for it, and Microsoft Office 11. Very time consuming project! My little iMac was just overloaded and getting slower.

  7. Beautiful blooms and great that you can at least see what you missed while away on the high seas.

If you pop over here mine are just coming into bloom.
