Ewwww. That wouldn't be very pleasant Lois. We found some last year that was bigger than hubby's hand and very thick. They were some kind of giant mushroom I think.
I occasionally find mushrooms in my Connecticut yard and it usually means that something below the surface (like roots from a cut-down tree) is rotting away.
Nope, don't want to step on one in sandals. But better than the slug I stepped on in my bare feet when I lived in Seattle. That happened over 40 years ago and it's still clear in my mind.

ReplyDeleteLOL, we have those darn things crop up in the yeard every once in awhile. Sometimes sever different varieties. They are in deed squishy!! lol...debbie
