West Virginia to Pennsylvania

Good morning,

Our road trip continues....
The weather continued to be beautiful as we moved from state to state.
We crossed the very narrow part of northern West Virginia and were quickly in Pennsylvania.
 We left the main highway...
...on our way to Uniontown, Pennsylvania where we would stop for the night.
What beautiful farms!  Many of the homes still displayed Christmas decorations in February.
The sun on the snow produced spectacular scenes.
We love to get off of main highways and travel through rural areas.
When we arrived in Uniontown we were greeted by the General George C. Marshall Memorial Plaza.  General Marshall is a native son of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Tomorrow I'll share images of the fabulous Titlow Tavern & Grill where we enjoyed a fabulous steak dinner.

Enjoy,
Lois

  1. Viewing your road trip images, Lois, had me anxious for our next one which will be at Easter time. We will also be in PA in the Lancaster County area. Regretfully, the snow will be gine by then, but the farm lands will be great to see (again).

  2. I like your snowy images. I guess I just don't think of there being snow down in the southern states. Love your new Header.
