A Big Move!

Good morning,

Sometimes I am so glad I take pictures so I can be sure I am seeing what I think I'm seeing.

A few days ago I took a picture of this tree.  I also used the beautiful ornaments to make my blog header.  I KNOW this tree was on the other side of the bridge, way down at the end of the Royal Promenade when I took those pictures.

Overnight, the tree moved down the Royal Promenade to just outside the Bull and Bear.  That move entailed a big bow (bough?) under that bridge.

Perhaps the tree wanted to drop in for a brew at the Bull & Bear?

;),

  1. Hmmm, the elves did it maybe, shrunk it with pixie dust and then blew the dust off when they got it moved?

  3. Well, I wonder how they moved it under that bridge! Maybe the tree is in 2 parts and a crane lifted it over. Haha. Guess we'll never know the secret. Merry Christmas to you and your husband, Lois. I hope you have a beautiful Christmas at sea. Blessings, Pamela

  4. HOW did they move such a giant tree. Mine is just a five foot tall tree and not so sure I could move it without doing some serious damage. (like knocking it over onto the piano like I did a few years ago!)
    What a great photo!

  9. Funny! In Ft. Smith this week a huge wind blew hundreds and hundreds of the 13,500 wreaths off the grave sites and all around the cemetery. When the staff arrived at work early the next morning all had been placed back where they belonged. It was bitter cold and windy all night. No one knows who or how. :) blessings, marlene
