Happy Thanksgiving

Good morning,

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our USA readers.  We hope you have a wonderful day with family.

Yes, we are still aboard Freedom of the Seas.  That's NOT our Thanksgiving dinner, but it is a roast turkey lunch I had recently in the Windjammer.  The salad and veggies aren't in the picture.

Our Thanksgiving dinner will be quite lovely with all of the traditional trimmings.

Very best,
Lois

  1. Thanksgiving at sea, what an idea. I've been loading and unloading the dishwasher a lot and will be doing it more. They wouldn't make me do that on a cruise would they?

Have a great Thanksgiving my friend.

  2. Hi Yogi,

Nope, you certainly don't have to do the dishes here. Of the 4,400+ people on board this cruise, more than 1,000 of them are children. The ship is so large and there are so many places for everyone to enjoy including places just for children and quiet places for adults only, you don't realize so many children are here.

There are a whole lot of families enjoying Thanksgiving together and not one of them will have to do the dishes.

Thanks for stopping by and your very kind comments.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, too. :)

And, for the record, we are in St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies today aboard the beautiful Freedom of the Seas. :)

  10. Happy Thanksgiving! We went and got my Dad from the Nursing Home and took him home to the farm for dinner. I think he really enjoyed that, but was ready to go back by 3:30 pm.
