River Queen Dixieland Jazz Brunch Cruise - Part 1 of 3

Good morning,

We are going on a River Queen Dixieland Jazz Brunch Cruise on a B&B Riverboat in Cincinnati.  Well, the riverboats are tied up across the Ohio River from Cincinnati in Kentucky.
Our timing was perfect because we got a parking spot right next to the ramp to the terminal.
Here we go!
There are a number of river boats here.  We will be aboard the one furthest away from where I am standing.
I remember when the mark Twain was sailing.
Here's the River Queen.  We aren't ready to board yet.  I took this image from the terminal.
If you look carefully in the center of this image you'll see the John Roebling Suspension Bridge.  It is a prototype of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Inside the terminal there are models of many river boats that have moved up and down the Ohio River here at Cincinnati.
Also ready to go out on a cruise today is the Belle of Cincinnati.
This is the model of that boat inside the terminal.
All the vital statistics of the River Queen.  We are so looking forward to the cruise.
That's the next picture on the TV screen in the terminal.  Soon we will be aboard the real River Queen for our Dixieland Jazz cruise.

Tune in tomorrow for Part 2.  :)

Best,
Lois

  9. Taking a riverboat cruise is on our "to do" list so it will be fun to follow along on your trip, Lois. This vessel must pale in comparison to ones you are usually traveling on.
